One of the things many webmasters forget or have been misinformed is about graphics and alt text tags.

It was a misconception that search engines don’t like or read graphics.  It is true that they don’t read graphics, but they read the Alt Text Tags for every graphic on your site.

It is highly beneficial to have graphics on your site for the look and feel, but also for the ability to add your keywords to the graphics via the Alt Text tags.

When adding your keywords to the Text Tags make sure you are consistent with the major keywords of your page than you included in your Title and Meta Information.

The Alt Text Tag is forgotten by many webmasters and can increase your keyword density and over search engine optimization and Serps by simply adding your keyword text to the appropriate graphics.
