SEO is about Links – See what Google Sees

One of the main components of Search Engine Optimization is the amount of Links pointing to your site. Unfortunately, when using the Link command within Google Searches, you only see a portion of those links. However, the good folks at Google have know given webmasters a way to not only see their links but other vital statistics for their sites.
If you have a Google Account, head over to http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/
and set up your webmaster tools account. You will need to ad a small bit of code to your site to let Google spider and analyze your site. So if you are a Black Hatter, then this is definitely something you should avoid. All white Hat people, this is an awesome tool for you to check out what Google sees about your site.
Matt Cutts, the Google Guru does warn that, just because you see Links reported by Google Webmaster Tools, that those links may not all “Carry Weight”.
