Here is a set of great training tutorials on PHP:

It’s a great intro for a newbie and worth spending an hour or two learning the basics. Even if you never plan to be a programmer yourself understanding how things work can help you make better decisions and help you understand how your sites work.
I watched a video like that one time Blackhat, I learned enough to allow me to understand how to manipulate pre-existing code. That was enough for me. Coding isn’t my bag, and after years of html website building, I just knew that I did not want to be a webmaster again. I am in the music distribution business at YouRockRadio.com, but prior I worked for MusicForte.com because they had admin and I could do my thing. And that had zero to do with websites, so it fit. But I am on my own now, so that is my lot in life until I get where I am going.
PHP is great stuff. All the variables like the Rails, Ajax implementations and all the others yet unborn, I just don’t know what I am gonna do if I ever have to go there, I suppose I will cheat like I always do. Hopefully I can hire someone else to run my sites by then.
