Comments on Blog post are a good way to get links and traffic back to your site. I am not talking about Spam comments, but adding to the conversation and providing information relevant to the topic, and of course your link.
One tool that I have found useful in the Comments – Links endeavor is
Comment Hut
It allows you to search by keyword for places that allow comments. It sorts by Google Page Rank and gives you a list of Keyword Related Places you can add your comment and link.
In the past I have seen some high traffic stats of people following my comment link back to my site.
