I’ve gotten a few e-mails over my endorsement of Comment Hut – seems that because there is a totally free similar service out there that it’s what we should be using just because it’s free. I’m talking about Comment Kahuna of course.
Now free is always good -but Comment Hut also has a totally free “lite” version.
Let’s go through the pro’s and cons of both:
Comment Hut Pros:
Works fast.
Returns A LOT of results.
Sorts by PR.
Exports Text File
Variety of sources.
Comment Hut Cons:
Can’t save profiles.
Can’t semi-auto post.
Comment Kahuna Pros:
You can save profiles.
You can semi-auto post.
Comment Kahuna Cons:
No saving urls externally to use elsewhere.
LOW RESULTS RETURNED. (MY BIG PROBLEM).
So even with the pro’s and cons of both – It needed a test. I ran them both and started making comments separately for each of them. I used the same terms, and set the timer.  WOW COMMENT KAHUNA WON…. wait – there is a problem here. Ohh there it is. It returned only 9 blogs compared to Comment Hut’s 147.
See my point?
Comment Hut may not look and sound as sexy as all of its’ counterparts.
It may not have the fancy looking GUI they have, but one thing is for sure, it can’t be matched for results, it’s the original workhorse.

i have got Comment K but never used it, will look at Comment Hut as it sure sounds as though it does the job.
looking sexy as stewart puts it doesnt get the job done i’ll go for perfomance anyday.

Do you have any data on either Neil Shearing’s Real Link Finder ($0) or Fast Blog Finder (~$50)?
Comment Hut, v2 is out and going for $97.
