Comments = Traffic.

Struggling to get new visitors to a new website doesn’t really have to be a struggle. Struggling to get new content for your site doesn’t have to be a struggle either…. tie it all together.
If your site is ‘yourdomain.com’, add a wordpress blog to a subfolder like this:Â yourdomain.com/yourkeywordphrase.
Update it every few days with decent content. Go out and make 10 or 20 comments on blogs and watch the traffic and spiders come trickling in. Sure a lot of blogs that you will leave comments on will tack on a ‘no follow’ tag, but that just means Google won’t give you any PR for the link. You will however get spiders coming to your site, and direct traffic from people interested in what you have to say.
Some of the larger blogs (techcrunch, etc…) have well over 300,000 visitors a day. If you do trackbacks and comments on related topics your going to get traffic.
