A Ghetto Command Center for Webmasters!
In Grey Hat Techniques | 4 comments | permalink
You know you want to interlink your websites.
You aren’t a programmer.
You know you are too lazy to open each one up and make the needed changes every time you add a new site.
You might be able to find the energy to do it once though…. so listen up.
Step one:Â Create a folder on one of your domains on a good hosting account.
Step two:Â Add a page for each of your existing sites.
Example:
mysite1.php
Go “include” mysite1.php in the template for mysite1.php.
Guess what? You’ve got a ghetto command center. From one location you can add links to all your sites easily.

I’ll be adding a “real” command center to Niche Site Special 2 soon. I’ve converting my command center from Rails to PHP so it will be easier for everyone.
Figure NSS 2 will open in a couple weeks, and the command center will be done a week or three behind that (guess it just depends on what new ideas I get while making it).
This is going to be AWESOME for saving time! Thanks so much Ed, and sorry I haven’t put more ‘feedback’ in.
I physically moved, and changed servers, too. I just downloaded all the “goodies” at Nichesitespecial2, and all I gotta say, is whoever reads this – GET OVER THERE!
This is going to be THE place to learn from an expert, (Ed) and have all the right tools and tricks to profit BIG TIME!
When I think of all the money I’ve wasted on hyped up marketing JUNK, that didn’t provide what is really needed to do the job, well, it makes me a bit ill.
Thanks Ed for being a straight shooter, giving REAL ideas to your people, and continuing to offer innovative and timely resources.
